Access to Legal Research Platforms


The SCLA Courthouse Law Library is a member of an Ontario-wide  network that comprises of 48 courthouse law libraries. We deliver high-value services that support the legal professionals in Simcoe County, as well as those visiting our courthouses from other areas of the province.

As part of the Legal Information and Resource Network our law library is able to provide our members with access to a wide range of legal research tools. These are the legal platforms that are available to our members, and to our staff who support the legal community:

  • Access to more than 7,000 print titles within the SCLA law library collection both in print and online, plus access to an inter-library loan service supported by 48 courthouse libraries;
  • Access to over 200 e-looseleafs via a Topical Text and Annotations subscription

  • LSO accredited CPD learning: access to CPD events and programs at SCLA Member pricing;

Membership Payment Options


Please complete the 2025 SCLA Membership Invoice

You may choose to submit payment via online, through your membership profile. 

If paying via cheque, please make cheque(s) payable to the Simcoe County Law Association and mail to our treasurer, Riley Brooks, at HGR Graham Partners LLP,  190 Cundles Rd. E, Unit 107, Barrie, ON L4M 4S5. 

If choosing to pay via e-transfer, please submit your transfer to accounting@scla.ca
